Server log files

When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data that your browser sends: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, referrer URL, browser and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after a short period and are not combined with other data.

Advertising: Google AdSense

This site shows advertising through Google AdSense, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure their performance and, if you agree, personalise them based on your interests.

Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through a consent message before cookies are used for personalised advertising (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the privacy settings link in that message. If you do not consent, Google may still show non-personalised ads, which use cookies only for purposes such as frequency capping, fraud prevention and aggregated reporting.

Some pages link to products on Amazon. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. No data is sent to Amazon until you click such a link. Once you are on Amazon's website, Amazon's own privacy notice applies, and Amazon may use cookies to record that you came from this site.

Analytics

We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service on this site.

Contact by email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
